Denver Business Journal — The business jet market dipped some in the second quarter, as the General Aviation Manufacturers Association reported that deliveries of those aircraft were flat through the first half of the year after having been up slightly at the end of the first quarter.
But a look at GAMA’s most recent data shows that the Wichita, Kansas-based Textron Aviation, a division of Textron Inc.(NYSE: TXT), is among those most responsible for helping keep those numbers steady in 2018.
The company recently reported 48 Cessna Citation business jet deliveries in the second quarter, up two aircraft year over year. That helped keep the company well represented on the list of the most popular business jet models through the first half of the year.
Bombardier Business Aircraft also appears in several spots on the list for its larger cabin models. The company delivered only five of its Kansas-built Learjets through June.
