Denver Business Journal — A Colorado marijuana dispensary owner said he has big plans for the state, involving franchising.

Christian Hageseth, owner of Denver's two Green Man Cannabis dispensaries, said in a statement that he's signed a deal with a group of Colorado investors who plan to open five ONE Cannabis locations in Denver, with the first two opening within the next six months.

Hageseth then said he expects to have 50 ONE Cannabis Colorado franchise locations within the next 30 months.

The Denver Business Journal profiled Hageseth and his franchising plans back in February, when he described how his franchising system would work. He told the Business Journal that he would license his intellectual property and then sell that to potential franchisees for a flat fee of $100,000 and 5 percent revenue share.
