The Better Business Bureau in Denver is warning consumers of a possible landscaping company scam in the Denver and Boulder area.

According to the BBB, Christopher Daily, who also goes by the aliases of Chris Carter and Walter Pilgrim, is the owner of several "F-rated" businesses: Pristine Scapes, Abundant Turf Solutions, Douglas Landscaping and Concrete Inc. and Paradise Hardscapes, which Daily registered with the Colorado Secretary of the State most recently.

The BBB has received 22 complaints on Paradise Hardscapes, including four in the last week, and 26 Business Review Inquiries in the past 30 days.

According to reports, consumers claim they give Daily a deposit and the business does not return to start the work. Consumers also say that when the business does start working, they don't finish what they started.

In addition to this, consumers claim Daily's company's workmanship is inferior and they have to hire another company to come and redo it.

Paradise Hardscapes is registered at the address 11001 West 120th Ave. in Westminster.

The BBB is investigating.
