Two of the 10 fastest-growing metro areas in the U.S. between 2014 and 2015 were in Colorado: Greeley and Fort Collins.

That's according to the latest data from the U.S. Census Bureau, which on Thursday released information indicating that The Villages in Florida, west of Orlando, was the nation’s fastest-growing metro area for the third year in a row. Five other Florida metro areas were in the to 20 fastest growing areas. Greeley was No. 6 and Fort Collins was No. 10 in U.S. metro area growth leaders from 2014 and 2015.

Regarding the growth of counties, according to the Census, Broomfield County grew the fifth-fastest in the country between 2014 and 2015, growing at a 5.2 percent clip. From 2010 to 2015, Broomfield County's population increased 16.5 percent, 24th-highest in the country.
