Construction is underway on a new 380,000-square-foot office building in the Denver Tech Center, at the southeast corner of Newport Street and Layton Avenue.

The latest addition to the Belleview Station transit-oriented development, 6900 Layton is 40 percent pre-leased to Newmont Mining Corporation (NYSE: NEM).

The building, expected to be completed for the summer of 2020, will have amenities including a fitness facility, private yoga room and lockers, 15,000 square feet of retail space and bike storage. It also has a terrace and tenant lounge.

Newmont Mining marks the second Fortune 500 company headquarters that Belleview Station has attracted – last December, Western Union (NYSE: WU) signed a lease at One Belleview Station. It has also attracted retailers such as Los Chingones, Corvus Coffee and Sushi-rama.

“Belleview Station is well on its way to redefining how people can work, shop, dine and live all in one place," said Denver Mayor Michael B. Hancock. He said this makes it a signature asset for economic development and underscoring Denver's position as a leading city for business success.
