ASPEN, Colo. — If you're thinking about buying a home in one of Colorado's priciest neighborhoods, there's a good chance you have at least a six-figure salary to your name.

In case you don't, here's confirmation that the price of entry for Colorado's most desirable neighborhoods isn't cheap.

The 25 most expensive ZIP codes in Colorado demand minimum salaries ranging from roughly $120,000 to $200,000 in order to afford the median home price, according to a Business Journals analysis of more than 15,000 ZIP codes across the nation.

Neighborhoods in Boulder and affluent sections of Denver and Arvada are scattered throughout the list of the 25 most expensive Colorado ZIP codes, ranked by the minimum salary required to afford the median home price. They're joined by mountain resort towns with home prices that stretch well into the tens of millions.

The Denver Business Journal has put out a slideshow explaining how much you'll need to earn in many Colorado counties. Check it out at this link.
