KUSA — If you've ever wondered about estate planning, or what happens if you don't have a will, or problems understanding Medicare, an event this weekend aims to help.

The 17th Judicial District is putting on their first-ever Senior Law Day to serve the residents of Adams and Broomfield counties.

It’ll be held Saturday, June 2 at the Waymire Dome at Adams County Regional Park, 9755 Henderson Road in Brighton.

Senior citizens and their families can get information at nine different workshops focused on legal issues.

The event will also have informational booths, including an Ask-A-Lawyer program where senior citizens can get a 15-minute consultation with an elder law attorney.
