83-year-old Littleton jewelry store going out of business

The store, at 191 W. Mineral Ave., is known for its high-end and designer jewelry.
The husband-wife team that has owned and operated Henri's Jewelry since 1997 is retiring and they are closing the 83-year-old Littleton store.

After 83 years in business, Henri's Jewelry Company Inc. in Littleton is closing.

Owners Karl and Robin Tanke are retiring.

The store, at 191 W. Mineral Ave., is known for its high-end and designer jewelry. A going-out-of-business sale will begin today.

The store sells everything from sterling silver to gold, gemstones, diamond pieces and designers such as Caro74 and Gabriel NY.

Karl Tanke, a certified master watchmaker, also sells antique watches he’s refurbished.
