DENVER — The Denver Police Department is looking for a driver who fled the scene of a fatal crash at a busy intersection early Sunday morning.
The three-car crash happened around 1 a.m. at East Colfax Avenue and Colorado Boulevard, according to a tweet from DPD. One person died at the scene, and another was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Police did not release a detailed description of the suspect, referring to him only as a Hispanic man who was wearing dark clothing and was last seen on foot.
The crash closed the intersection of Colfax and Colorado, but it has since reopened.
No additional information was immediately available.
