ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — The Englewood Police Department is looking for suspects after a 13-year-old boy was killed and another person was injured in a shooting in an alleyway not far from Hampden Avenue and South Broadway.

Englewood Police spokesperson Scot Allen said the shooting was reported just after 2:30 p.m. Sunday in the 3600 block of the alley between South Bannock Street and South Acoma Street.

According to a release from Englewood Police, the young victim died at the scene. The Arapahoe County Coroner said he had been shot to death, but did not identify the 13-year-old by name citing his age.

An 18-year-old man was shot in the neck and taken to the hospital.

Police said the initial investigation revealed that the incident began as an attempted robbery. They're looking for four men in their early twenties who were riding in a white 1998 Chevrolet Impala (pictured below).
