WESTMINSTER – Two people were hospitalized with stab wounds after a fight broke out Tuesday night in a grocery store parking lot.
At about 11 p.m., officers with the Westminster Police Department were called to the King Soopers near 104th Avenue and Federal Boulevard on reports of a disturbance involving multiple people where gunshots were heard.
When officers arrived at the scene, they found three men with stab wounds described as non-life-threatening, police said. Two of them were taken to the hospital for treatment.
A preliminary investigation indicates gunshots were fired, but no one was hit, police said.
Police believe all of the men involved knew each other, and that disturbance stemmed from an argument over a woman.
There's no remaining danger to the public, police said.
