GREELEY – Two Greeley men, including the owner of a car dealership, are accused in a child prostitution case.

Fares Al Rashed, 36, was arrested Thursday. The owner of Alrashed Auto Sales is accused of paying for sex with an underage Weld County girl.

Paul Burman, 31, was arrested in December for pimping the child. The arrests are part of a wider investigation into sex trafficking.

According to an affidavit, the victim and Burman met through Facebook in late 2013 and started a sexual relationship.

Investigators said the victim was worried about paying for a speeding ticket, and Burman convinced her that prostitution was a way to pay for the fine.

Al Rashed met the victim through Burman. The alleged pimp was a customer at Al Rashed's dealership, the affidavit said.

The victim told detectives she ended up having sex with Al Rashed and another man she believes rented the apartment they used.

She says Burman comforted her afterward when she began crying and shaking. According to the affidavit, Burman drove her home and gave her $100.

The investigation began after the FBI received a tip about the victim in April 2014. Detectives spoke with multiple women who also accused Burman of sex trafficking multiple victims

Burman's criminal record spans multiple counties in Colorado and dates back to 2001.

Burman and Al Rashed remain in the Weld County Jail.
