DENVER — More than 60 windows have been shot out at five Denver recreation centers since March 15, according to a Friday release from the Denver Police Department (DPD).
DPD said a pellet or BB gun was used to shoot out the windows, which is a "large expense for the city and its taxpayers," DPD said.
DPD said it currently doesn't have a video, suspect or suspect vehicle information.
The recreation centers impacted are:
- Scheitler Recreation Center – 5031 W. 46th Ave.
- Central Park Recreation Center – 9651 E. Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
- Eisenhower Recreation Center – 4300 E. Dartmouth Ave.
- Cook Park Recreation Center – 7100 Cherry Creek South Drive
- Southwest Recreation Center – 9200 W. Saratoga Place
