A woman at a home in the 2200 block of Jewell Street called police just after 6 p.m. Thursday and said she just arrived home and couldn't locate her husband and spotted blood on the carpet.
Officers arrived and found the man's body during a search of the home. Officers also learned the couple’s pickup truck was missing.
Their investigation led them to a storage facility in the east-central part of Longmont where officers located an unoccupied pickup truck. They determined it was stolen from the couple's Jewel Street home.

SWAT was called in to assist and Rio was taken into custody around 9:30 p.m. Thursday without incident, according to police.
