Auto-theft suspect injured in Pueblo officer-involved shooting

No officers were injured, and the suspect was transported to a hospital, according to police.

PUEBLO, Colo. — A confrontation with an auto-theft suspect resulted in an officer-involved shooting early Friday, according to the Pueblo Police Department.

The shooting occurred about 3 a.m. in the 1200 block of Deane Lane, in the Eastwood Heights neighborhood in east Pueblo.

No officers were injured, according to police. The suspect, a man, was taken to Parkview Medical Center in Pueblo with serious injuries.
