Body found in NW Denver identified as man missing for more than year

The Denver Police Department said they had to take extra measures after unsanitary conditions hindered the investigation.
Unsanitary conditions hindered a death investigation in Denver Friday morning.

The Denver Office of the Medical Examiner has identified the body found inside a home in Northwest Denver on Thursday as 69-year-old Charles Frary.

Frary had been missing for more than a year.

His body was found inside his home on the 4400 block of W. 50th Avenue - near the Willis Case Golf Course, according to DPD.

The Denver Police Department said they had to take extra measures after unsanitary conditions hindered the investigation.

Neighbors say Frary was last seen October 2016. He was officially reported missing February 2017.

Police are not saying whether his death is suspicious at this point. The cause has also not been released yet.
