Three young children, two of which were reported as critically endangered, have been found safe following a tip that their mother was in a Family Dollar store in Montrose, according to a Tweet from the San Miguel Sheriff Department.
The Colorado Bureau of Investigation originally reported on Thursday that two young children were critically endangered and with their mother, who had a warrant out for her arrest.
The San Miguel Sheriff's Department then tweeted earlier today that a third child, 8-year-old Damian Banks, may also have been with the other two missing children.
Sirena Wade, 1, and Loki Wade, 3, had been with their mother, 27-year-old Felicia Mooneyham, in a white 1998 Subaru Wagon with Colorado tag 692 ZRY, CBI said.
The father of Mooneyham's two youngest was with her as well, according to the sheriff's department.
The kids have been placed with Child Protective Services, the tweet said.
Mooneyham is a "known meth user with an active felony child arrest warrant," San Miguel sheriff's tweeted.
Mooneyham was wanted on a charge of child abuse, according to the San Miguel County Sheriff's Office.
Mooneyham spoke with law enforcement in Utah recently, the Colorado Bureau of Investigation said.
