The Denver Police Department is asking for the public’s help in identifying the motorcyclists who blocked traffic on Interstate 25 Sunday afternoon, causing traffic backups.
Several hundred of the motorcyclists were seen throughout the metro area. At one point, they blocked all lanes of traffic on northbound I-25 near University Boulevard.
Anyone with photos or video of the group is asked to contact Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-STOP. You can remain anonymous and could eligible for a $2,000 reward.
The ride was purported an event called “Kill Da Streetz” – which has been happening annually for the past few years.
Organizers say the aim is to raise awareness about the dangers motorcyclists face on the roads.
