A man was taken into custody early Monday morning after Greenwood Village police said he fired a shot into an unoccupied security vehicle at Cherry Creek High School. The school is located at 9300 E Union Ave.
Police said they're working to determine a motive for the crime, but don't believe there is any connection between the suspect and the school. They're working with the district to investigate the crime.
No injuries were reported.
