Homicide investigation underway after man found dead in vehicle

Aurora police are investigating the death as a homicide based on evidence they found at the scene.

AURORA, Colo. — A man's death is being investigated as a homicide after he was found dead inside a vehicle in Aurora Tuesday night, Aurora police said in a news release.

Officers responded to the 9000 block of East 16th Ave just before 7:30 p.m on a report about a body found in the area.

Once there, officers located a man sitting in a vehicle, suffering from an unknown injury. The victim, a man in his 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The coroner will determine how he died.

Anyone who has information about the incident is asked to call Aurora Police Agent Huber at 303-739-6090. Tipsters can also remain anonymous, and be eligible for a reward of up to $2,000 by contacting Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at (720) 913- STOP (7867).
