DENVER — A man was killed in a shooting Monday night in the Five Points neighborhood, according to a tweet from Denver police.
Officers responded to a shooting in the area of East 26th Avenue and North Washington Street around 10 p.m. Monday night. They located a man who had been shot. The victim was taken to the hospital, where he later died, police said.
The man's death is being investigated as a homicide. However, police have not provided any information about potential suspects.
