Investigators now believe the death of a man found with a fatal gunshot wound in a West Colfax Avenue motel room Thursday morning was a homicide.
The victim’s body was found at the Big Bunny motel at 6218 W. Colfax by a maintenance worker at around 10 a.m. Thursday.
Police have since identified the man as 25-year-old Jesse Alton Clarence Robinson.
Investigators initially did not know whether the gunshot had been self-inflicted, but now believe it was the work of someone else.
No information about suspects or a potential motive was released.
