BROOMFIELD, Colo. — A man has been sentenced to 52 years in prison after pleading guilty to stabbing a 79-year-old woman who was walking her dog at a pedestrian underpass.
Donald McMillian pleaded guilty Friday to first-degree assault of an at-risk elder, kidnapping and attempted sexual assault for the March 20, 2018 attack, which happened at Sheridan Boulevard and Highland Park Drive.
This was part of a plea agreement, according to the 17th Judicial District Attorney’s Office.
The 44-year-old will be sentenced at 1:30 p.m. on Sept. 6. in Broomfield District Court.
