The U.S. Postal Inspectors have arrested a man who they said robbed an Aurora post office at gunpoint last month, according to a news release distributed on Friday. 

The suspect, identified as Willie Dewayne Phillip, was indicted on Dec. 4 for one count of assault/robbery involving mail, money or other property of the U.S. using a dangerous weapon. A $25,000 reward had been offered for information leading to his arrest. 

The robbery occurred at the post office at 1074 S. Ironton St. in Aurora on Nov. 8, according to a news release from the U.S. Postal Inspectors.

Phillip was arrested on Thursday afternoon at a private residence in Denver, according to the postal inspectors.
