KUSA – The Denver Police Department released new suspect photos Monday afternoon in wake of the stabbing death of a recent high school graduate on East Colfax Avenue.

The victim, identified as Reese Grant-Cobb, was fatally assaulted outside the Bourbon Grill at 571 E. Colfax Ave. at around 11:15 p.m. July 1, according to DPD.

Investigators said they believe several people assaulted and stabbed Grant-Cobb, who was found unresponsive and died at the hospital. A juvenile suspect was arrested with help from witness statements, but police believe more people could have been involved.

The Denver Police Department released surveillance photos of two more suspects on Monday. That’s in addition to photos of two different people the department distributed last week.

Three of the suspects are men, and the fourth is a woman.

It’s unclear what motivated the stabbing, or if the suspects knew Grant-Cobb.

The 17-year-old just graduated from DSST Stapleton High School and was slated to attend the University of Northern Colorado in the fall, according to a statement from his family.

Family members said Grant-Cobb participated in several sports, including basketball, football and track.

Anyone with information about the suspects is asked to call Metro Denver Crime Stoppers at 720-913-STOP. You can remain anonymous and could be eligible for a $2,000 reward.
