Police: CU student wakes up to a strange man touching her

When she confronted the man, her boyfriend woke up and chased him out of the house.

BOULDER — Police are looking for a man who climbed into a University of Colorado student's bed and touched her as she slept in Boulder's Goss-Grove neighborhood.

According to a release, officers were told about an unlawful sexual contact at a house in the 1800 block of 22nd Street early Friday morning.

The woman told police she had been sleeping in her bed when she awoke at around 2:40 a.m. to a man touching her outside of her underwear. When she confronted the man, her boyfriend woke up and chased him out of the house.

Police said there was no forced entry into the home. Officers have increased patrols in the area.

The suspect is described as a college-aged white man, about 6 feet tall, with brown hair, a full beard and glasses.
