BOULDER, Colorado — A man allegedly exposed himself to a 7-year-old girl near the University of Colorado (CU) campus in Boulder on Wednesday.

CU Boulder Police said the girl and her mother were walking on a trail at CU Boulder South Wednesday evening.

The girl was ahead of her mother and came around a bend when she saw the man, according to police.

The girl told police the man turned toward her, lowered his shorts and lifted his shirt. Police said the man was inappropriately touching himself too.

The man ran southwest toward a neighborhood after the girl turned around to go back to her mother.

The man is described as white, 20-30 years old, clean shaven with shorter hair of an unknown color. He had a thin build and was last seen wearing a white t-shirt with blue writing and shorts.

Anyone who might have seen the man is asked to call CU Boulder Police at 303-492-6666.

The South Campus is undeveloped land owned by CU Boulder approximately two miles southeast of the main campus.
