Police say no human remains found in 'shallow grave' in Englewood

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — Police did not find any human remains in what they said appeared to be a "shallow grave", according to a tweet sent out by the Englewood Police Department (EPD).

The "grave" was found near Englewood Parkway and South Bannock Street Tuesday afternoon. Police said that during their investigation they did not find any human remains or anything else suspicious.

The investigation at Englewood Parkway and South Bannock Street is complete. There were no signs of human remains or anything suspicious located in the shallow grave. Personnel on scene are clearing the area. Eastbound traffic on Englewood Parkway will return to normal shortly.

The investigation forced one lane of eastbound Englewood Parkway to be closed Tuesday evening.
