Two men, one in his 40s and another in his 50s, were arrested and charged with a slew of crimes related to an early-morning home burglary in Fremont County, law enforcement said.
The Fremont County Sheriff's Office arrested 55-year-old Gregory Claflin of Penrose and 45-year-old Clint Long from Florence for allegedly forcing their way into a home in the 400 block of Fremont County Road 103 in Florence.
When the house's residents got home a little after 1 a.m., Wednesday they called deputies after seeing damage to their home and people inside their house, according to the Fremont County Sheriff's Office.
When deputies got on scene they took Claflin and Long into custody, the Sheriff's Office said.
Claflin is facing six charges, ranging from drug possession, gun possession, burglary and trespassing, the Sheriff's Office said.
