The victims, who were juveniles at the time of the abuse, came forward after they became adults, Boulder Police said.

BOULDER, Colo. — A man who worked as a therapist is accused of sexually assaulting at least two children during therapy sessions at his home office, the Boulder Police Department said Thursday.

Mark Hochwender, 72, was arrested Wednesday. He's charged with two felony counts of sexual assault on a child by a person in a position of trust-pattern of abuse.

Hochwender was in his 40s when the alleged crimes occurred, police said.

The victims, who were juveniles at the time of the abuse, came forward after they became adults. They told detectives the incidents occurred when they saw Hochwender as their therapist between August 1999 and present day.

They reported that the abuse occurred at Hochwender’s home offices, one of which was located in the city of Boulder. The other was located in Westminster.
