DENVER — Two people have been arrested in connection to a fatal shooting on East Colfax Avenue in August, according to the Denver Police Department (DPD).
Darrian Butler, 27, was killed in the shooting, which happened around 4 a.m. Aug. 11, in the area of East Colfax Avenue and Clermont Street. That's in the South Park Hill neighborhood.
Police said Wednesday that two people were arrested in connection to the shooting.
Jaime Humberto Espino-Amador, 19, was arrested Tuesday on charges of first-degree murder.
Jasmine Munoz, 22, was arrested last week on unrelated charges, and is now facing attempted murder charges in connection to this case.

Metro Denver Crime Stoppers works by assigning a code to people who anonymously submit a tip. Information is shared with law enforcement, and Crime Stoppers is notified at the conclusion of the investigation.
From there, an awards committee reviews the information provided and, if the information leads to an arrest, the tipster will be notified. Rewards can be collected using the code numbers received when the tip was originally submitted.
