Food sampling fundraiser benefits Denver domestic violence shelter

Sampling for Hope brings together restaurants from across the metro area, offering guests the chance to sample some of Denver's finest food, with proceeds entirely benefiting SafeHouse.

DENVER – One in three women has been the victim of some sort of domestic violence, according to data from the Centers for Disease Control.

It is crucial for anyone experiencing domestic violence to find the resources they need to get out of that terrible situation. That’s why SafeHouse Denver exists.

The non-profit domestic violence shelter offers a 24/7 crisis hotline for men and women experiencing violence in Denver. If you need help, call 303-318-9989.

The shelter is holding an annual fundraiser this week, to fund an extended stay program for victims to get on their feet.
