You can ask health experts COVID-19 questions on Wednesday

This is the opportunity for community members to talk directly to the health experts on the front lines of fighting COVID-19 in Colorado.

DENVER — Health officials in Colorado will hold two meetings Wednesday to answer questions directly from the community about COVID-19.

The first meeting happened at the Downtown Denver Partnership at 7 a.m.

Dozens of people in the business community gathered to listen to local health experts, including Executive Director of the Denver Department of Public Health and Environment (DDPHE) Bob McDonald, Chief Medical Officer for Denver Health Dr. Connie Savor Price, and the Interim Executive Director of the Denver Office of Emergency Management Matt Mueller.

It was an opportunity for experts to answer questions about what the business community can be doing to “help prepare, spread facts and reduce unnecessary fear”, according to a news release from the Downtown Denver Partnership.

Dr. Price went through what the medical community knows about the virus and what is still unknown, while giving advice on how to operate a business amid a public health crisis.
