DENVER — According to the Colorado Health Institute, in 2017 more than 350,000 people in our state remained uninsured and more than 381,000 above the age of five who needed mental health services did not receive it.

By using the free 9Health eTools you have the ability to take control of your health this year. These health programs and applications were carefully selected to ensure they are credible and evidenced-based.

Our newest eTools are for mental health. 9Health is now offering FREE anxiety and depression screenings!

By answering between seven and ten questions, 9Health can give you accurate information about the score you receive on the screenings. These results do not mean that you have anxiety and/or depression, but they can give you an indication that it may be time to start a conversation with someone who can help in-person or by phone.

9Health and Spark the Change Colorado are also partnering to provide free in-person therapy with a licensed professional.

Taking a free mental health screening is one of the quickest and easiest ways to determine whether you are experiencing symptoms of a mental health condition. Conditions such as depression or anxiety are real, common and treatable. And, recovery is possible.

Spark the Change Colorado's Pro Bono mental health program connects licensed, insured volunteer therapists, counselors, and other mental health professionals with low-income individuals in Colorado in need of counseling.
