The bodies of two people were found in the basement of a home that exploded in Weld County on Monday afternoon.
The explosion and subsequent fire leveled the home and initially sent two people to the hospital, one of which was high school science teacher Erin Martinez.
One person was taken by medical helicopter to the hospital and another was transported via ambulance.
It happened in the Oak Meadows subdivision, which is near the intersection of Colorado and Firestone boulevards, just before 5 p.m. Monday.
Identifications of the two bodies in the home were not immediately released. The Frederick-Firestone Fire District told 9NEWS that information will be made public on Wednesday or Thursday.
At this time, it's still unclear what caused the explosion. Crews say it may take days to sift through the rubble.
