An early morning fire has displaced 30 residents from a Lakewood apartment building.

Wednesday morning, West Metro Fire Rescue was called to the West Hills Apartments in the 300 block of Van Gordon Street on a report of a fire.

Two third story apartments were heavily damaged and the residents of the entire building were displaced, according to a tweet from West Metro Fire Rescue.

In the tweet, West Metro Fire reports that there were no injuries and the cause of the fire is still under investigation.

The Red Cross assisted about 30 displaced residents, according to a press release.
