KUSA — The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children released an age-progression video of what they believe a Colorado Springs infant who was abducted from his crib in 1986 may look like today .

Christopher Abeyta was 7 months old on July 15, 1986. That's the night he vanished from his home, never to be seen again. The front door to the Abeyta’s Colorado Springs home had been left unlocked that night. Little Christopher was the youngest of seven children.

Christopher Abeyta's mother, Bernice Abeyta, devoted her entire life to finding her young son, but died from cancer before she could get any concrete answers.

Colorado Springs Police say they have questioned people of interest, but no one has been arrested in the case.

Now, 32 years later, the NCMEC posted a video to its Twitter page of what Christopher Abeyta could look like now as a grown man.

In an open letter, Christopher Abeyta's sister Denise addressed her brother, saying his family had an "obligation" to him and described how his family was devoted to finding him.

"We don’t know what your fate was that summer night in 1986, but know we have never given up seeking answers," the letter read in part.
