Adams County deputy t-boned in crash while responding to call

An Adams County deputy was taken to the hospital as a precaution after she was t-boned by another vehicle while responding to a call with her lights and sirens on, according to the Adams County Sheriff's office.

ADAMS COUNTY — Two people were taken to the hospital Wednesday morning following a crash that involved an Adams County deputy who was responding to a call.

The deputy was headed west on 70th Ave with her lights and sirens on when she was t-boned by another vehicle that was headed south on Broadway around 7 a.m., the Adams County sheriff's office said.

Both drivers were taken to the hospital as a precaution.

The deputy was on her way to another crash involving two vehicles at Interstate 76 and Pecos St that happened around 6:50 Wednesday morning, the sheriff's office said. There's no word on any injuries from that crash, although several lanes of the highway were closed during the investigation.
