EAGLE COUNTY, Colo. — A child's body found Friday afternoon in the Eagle River between Eagle and Dotsero has since been identified as 3-year-old Sebastian Rodriguez Castro, according to an announcement Wednesday from Eagle County.

A spokesperson for Eagle County said Sebastian's body was found by someone who was on some sort of watercraft on the river.

The Eagle County Coroner’s Office said the cause of death is consistent with drowning and the manner is accidental.
