KUSA - The Denver Police Department is investigating a fatal crash involving an automobile and pedestrian that occurred around 10:26 a.m. at the intersection of South Federal Boulevard and West Harvard Avenue.
DPD said in a tweet they have a man in custody and that alcohol is being considered as a possible factor in the crash. DPD's public information officer said the victim is also man - the passenger of the vehicle.
The Police Department clarified just before 5 p.m. that the pedestrian in the accident only suffered minor injuries.
The department also tweeted that they will not release additional suspect information at this time.
Federal Boulevard is completely closed in that area, DPD said in an earlier tweet.
The vehicle rolled over in a baseball field nearby.
