Driver ejected, killed in early morning Aurora crash

One person was killed in an early morning car crash in northwest Aurora on Sunday, according to a release from the Aurora Police Department.

Police received a call about the roller crash just after 6 a.m. near East Baranmor Parkway and North Quentin Street.

The driver, who first responders found ejected from the vehicle, was the only person in the car. Life-saving measures were taken and the driver was transported to a nearby hospital but was later pronounced dead.

A release from the Police Department said speed was likely a factor in this crash, but couldn't say if anything else led to the wreck. ​​The name of the driver has not yet been released, but will after the next of kin is notified.
