DENVER — One of the drivers in a two-car crash that involved a semi-truck and car ran from the scene, Denver police said in a Tweet.
The crash happened Friday morning near the intersection of East 47th Ave and Peoria St. One driver ran away from the crash, but police did not say which vehicle that person was driving.
One person was taken to the hospital with serious injuries, but police did not say if that person was inside the semi-truck or the car. Police said they were searching for the driver who ran from the crash scene.
East 47th Ave was closed in both directions at Albrook Dr during the crash investigation.
