DENVER – Due to the snowstorm in the forecast, Fort Logan announced that it will move its Veterans Day ceremony inside.

It was supposed to be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Fort Logan National Cemetery at 3698 S. Sheridan Blvd.

Instead, it will now be held at the same time at VFW Post 9644 at 2680 W. Hampden Ave (two blocks east of Federal Boulevard).

The keynote speaker will be Maj. Gen. Michael Loh, the mobilization assistant to the commander of NORAD. Col. John W. Wagner, the commander of 460th SW, will give the Memorial Day address.

A storm is expected to dump up to five inches of snow on the Front Range, but the brunt of it is expected to be over by mid-morning.

The ceremony was also relocated last year.
