GLENWOOD SPRINGS — Students attending the Glenwood Springs High School homecoming dance were placed in a lockout Saturday night as police investigated an incident near the school.
It is unclear what prompted the investigation, but Glenwood Springs Police said all students were safe inside the school during the incident. During the lockout, no one was allowed to enter or leave the school.
The incident ended just before 1:30 a.m., according to a GSHS Facebook post. The school ended the lockout and students were able to leave the building as normal.
