DENVER — Just in time for the Thanksgiving travel rush, passengers can now check their bags and print their boarding passes without actually walking into the terminal.

Denver International Airport announced Thursday that it is allowing passengers to check bags and print boarding passes at the Pikes Peak and Mt. Elbert lots.

This is aimed at reducing time at the check-in counters as well as making more room in the shuttles that take passengers from these parking lots into the airport itself.

The service is free for passengers traveling domestically on Southwest, United, Delta and American Airlines flights.

To use this bag drop service, passengers have to get to the airport at least 90 minutes early. The service is available from 2 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday through Thursday and on Fridays from 2 a.m. to 7 p.m.
