Kombucha Jello: how to get your kids to eat healthy

Getting your kids to eat healthy can be a challenge but getting them involved in the meal making can help.

KUSA — Do you have a kid who only eats mac and cheese and ice cream? Are mealtime battles stressing out your family?

1. Offer choices- but healthy choices

2. Get your kids involved- take them to a farm or a farmer's market and get them in the process of making food.

3. Get creative instead of convenient- every junk food has a healthy counterpart. Convenient food is ruining our health and sometimes the key is better time management as parents.

Recipe: Kombucha Jello

  • 1 C boiling water
  • 4 Tbsp grassfed gelatin
  • 1 bottle of Kombucha
  • extra- small chunks of fruit
