Former U.S. first lady Michelle Obama discusses her forthcoming memoir titled, 'Becoming', during the 2018 American Library Association Annual Conference on June 22, 2018 in New Orleans, Louisiana.

Before she brings her book tour to the Pepsi Center on Thursday night, former First Lady Michelle Obama will host a book signing event at the Tattered Cover Book Store on East Colfax Avenue.

A limited number of wristbands to "An Afternoon Event with Michelle Obama" will be available for purchase online at this link starting Wednesday at 9 a.m. The event itself will be held from 2:30 p.m. to 4:30 pm. on Thursday. Tickets cost $32.50 plus fees and taxes.

A wristband guarantees one signed copy of Michelle Obama’s memoir "Becoming." Customers will also have an option for purchasing one additional signed copy of the book when purchasing a wristband.

Those who buy tickets to the event will need to have their receipt – either printed or digital – to present at Tattered Cover the day of the event before they’ll be able to get in line on a first-come, first serve basis.

Customers will receive their signed book at the end of meet and greet rather than at the time of purchase, according to the event listing. Photos of any kind are not allowed during the book signing.

Sales of the book, published four weeks ago, have now topped 3 million, according to Crown Publishing.

After the book signing, Michelle Obama will head to the Pepsi Center Thursday evening to promote her memoir. Actress Reese Witherspoon will moderate the conversation.
