WELD COUNTY — All of the more than 100 train cars that derailed after a train and tanker truck collided Thursday afternoon in Weld County have been removed or rerailed, a spokesperson for BNSF railway said.

The BNSF train consisted of three engines and 123 railcars, all of them derailed as a result of the crash. Friday morning, a spokesperson for BNSF said they were in the process of repairing the tracks and expected to have that work done by the end of the day.

CSP said the railcars were empty. The tanker truck was hauling salt water, according to Trooper Cutler.

The truck's driver was not injured in the crash, according to CSP.
