CASTLE ROCK - What’s it like soaring through the air at 50 miles an hour, then suddenly coming to a stop?
The morning show team discovered that feeling during an outing to the Castle Rock Zipline.
It’s at Phillip S. Miller Park just west of the city.
Even if you don’t like heights all that much (like me), it’s still fun.
You’re so fitted into the harness, and the staff does such a great job of teaching you what and what not to do, that it didn’t bother me being up so high.
Recently Corey, Christine, Marty, Amelia, Eddie and I got to check out the 10 different zip lines there, starting with a very easy one.
No. 10? Well. that was something else.
It’s a 1,500-foot duel race line, and it’s absolutely amazing how fast you get going … and how fast you come to a stop!
If you’re up for an adventure, you need to try this.
We all agreed, it’s a blast!
