Both of Colorado's senators are standing firm in positions against others who have been accused of sexual misconduct.
Senators Michael Bennet (D) and Cory Gardner (R) spoke out on Wednesday against members of their own parties.
In a tweet, Bennet wrote that he hopes Sen. Al Franken (D) will "do the right thing" and resign from his position.
Bennet is one of more than 20 Democrats who called for Franken to resign following a new report from Politico, detailing accusations made by a political aide. The woman said Franken forcibly tried to kiss her after a taping of his radio show three years ago.
Bennet wrote, "Sexual harassment and misconduct are never acceptable."

Wednesday morning, Gardner appeared on the Business for Breakfast show on 1690 AM. Show host Jimmy Sengenberger asked the senator whether he's still withholding support for Roy Moore, who's running for a Senate seat in Alabama. Gardner, the head of the National Republican Senatorial Committee, said last month that Moore should withdraw from the race, or resign if he wins.
Gardner told Sengenberger:
"The National Republican Senatorial Committee will remain in the same position. We will not be participating in the Senate race, and I keep my same position and same commitment that I made some time ago, as it relates to Alabama. Nothing has changed, and nothing will change."
Other members of the NRSC have been questioned about their support this week, as well, following an endorsement of Moore from President Trump and the Republican National Committee. Several women have come forward to say Moore made sexual advances toward them when they were teenage girls.
